Good afternoon Vannie.
I am an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Tyler. I teach two Freshman Seminar courses on Critical Thinking. On of the courses specifically addresses "Change" from a professional perspective. In teaching the students how to think critically, I ask the students to Complete the logic of your article: "Avoid These 7 Myths and Get Ahead at Work and Business; Myth #1: A Job Well Done Speaks for Itself" as an exercise in "Analyzing the Logic of An Article", Dr. Richard Paul.
I agree with your Myth #1 as I have been in the business world now for over 40 years. Not only do the students learn to think critically; but they are also gaining some real life advice.
