Did I Share This With You Already?

    I found the greatest advertisment in Entertainment magazine. When did Van start reading magazines like that some of you say. Well, it's a freebie because I get New Jersey magazine. Anyway, I think that's the reason I receive it, not really sure.

It's an AT&T ad. Just forgive me is this is a repeat, it is so cool it bears repeating, especially if you really love old movies.

The World According to Toni

Before I get serious with a guy, I like to make him watch Hollywood movies from the 50's and 60's. In those flicks, men were suave and knew how to treat a woman like a lady. So this is my test: If he falls asleep, I dump him. If he shows some interest, he might get a second date. If he wants to watch it again, well then that's my man!

I really love this advertisement.

Confusing Morning

I overslept--it was after 7a when I woke up. Could be that I tried once too often to watch an old Mr. Wong movie. I would start it, fall asleep immediately, wake up to find the movie had ended and start the cycle again. Really stupid.

 

When I woke up I thought it was either Saturday or that I was late for work. Very confusing. Then I almost fried my laptop by using too much dust remover which turns liquid if you over-spray. (groan)

 

So, yesterday, I received an e-mail to attend the "Woman's Day and Scholastic for The Next Bestseller: The ABC's of Creating a Children's Book on Tuesday, May 9th at the Scholastic Auditorium in New York City. Whoopi Goldberg as special guest speaker and a panel discussion moderated by Inside Edition anchor Deborah Norville on how to write and market a successful children's book. Both Whoopi and Deborah are published children's book authors..."  Not sure how or why I received invite, but I thought it was way cool. I have RSVP'd that I will attend. It will be held in SOHO area. Have not been down there in years. Is that where Puff Daddy's restaurant is?MMMmm. Digressing.

 Sorry folks. I have had such a hard time getting into my journal. I know it has been a month. I recieved so many "why is the same thing still showing" that I had to take the link off for a while. It seems that if something is out of site you don't get as many yells. :)
