While waiting for our jitney to go shopping this morning (this is new and way convenient), I met a woman who was also waiting. We started talking, and I found that she is also divorced and retired as I am. I have never known anyone who has traveled as she has, I never would have guessed it. I always say that you must never judge at first glance--but that's just what I did, and was totally thrown for a loop. She has lived a life I can only dream of, and she is still on the go. I hope we will get a chance to do lunch before she leaves this weekend. It snowed here last night, I was surprised and delighted to see it this morning. It wasn't cold, but I think a lot of people stayed in until some of the snow melted.
Big grin--I am so excited that I can use my wireless connection this time. I am sitting on the bed typing and loving it. This means that I don't have to pay a connection fee. I don't mind, but I am online for hours and worry that I will miss a telephone call.
I just don't get it! I saw a sign the other day that stated, "Now live, nude dancers." You have to wonder what condition their previous 'nude dancers' were in (smiling).
