If you don't like the incentive award you received from your company think about this. Mary Kay Ash (Mary Kay Cosmetics) once received something called a "Flounder Light" from the company she worked for. So what is a flounder light? It is a light that you to pin on your hip boots when you fish at night :-) Later, at the same company she was passed over for a promotion. The man she trained got the job :-( Still later she found out that the some of the men she was training were pulling in $50k, while she was making $25k.
What did she do? She took a month off, took $5k from her savings and started her own company. Mary Kay Ash's company hands out a little more than Founder Lights; her associates get pink Cadilacs for a job well done :-)
