This morning the funeral home director who sold body parts, to a bio-medical firm is in the news again. The trial is coming up. There is a J.D. Robb novel about harvesting body parts. However, in Robb's novel, the parts removed from the living. Tough cop Lt. Eve Dallas always gets her man or woman in the "In Death" series, so of course she takes down the bad guys in her usual kick butt style. This kind of thing is gruesomely exciting in a novel, but you never think anything like this could actually happen. When I first heard this story on television, I thought, Nora Roberts (J.D. Robb) is amazing, she has done it again; she has envisioned the possible from the unthinkable.
This is when I wish I still had the Court TV channel. I would like to see and hear the justification of this terrible act. I wonder if he will take the "I did it for science" route. I hope not.
