Yes. I am a member of the Red Hat Society and attending my first meeting this weekend. I must admit when I first opened my mail and a red feather fluttered to the floor I was a little taken back. But I was cool. I just picked it up and stuffed it in my purse. I have had a great red straw hat that I bought about 2 years ago, but never wore, perhaps I will get a chance to wear it next summer. Oh I know it is still summer, but I think it may be a bit much to wear a big red to someone's house for a meeting. I am looking forward to interacting with these ladies.
More to hat wearing drama. I have received an e-mail and found out that the meeting will take place in a back yard and that I am more than welcome to wear my red hat! Definately taking my camera. If all goes well--you'll see photos.
