A Day in the Life

business metaphor, delegating responsibility, business meetings    Okay, in my previous entry I said red hatters, not mad hatters. I received the same type e-mail from several friends, that's why I love you guys. Everyone is on the same bizarre wave length. LOL.

Yesterday, I took some time to try (again) to use my $50 Macy's freebie card. Still could not find anything. I figured, it's Spring, I'll find some nice things. Nothing!! I did see a pair of shoes that I loved. It is very difficult for me to find shoes these days. I really hate and will not where the needle point shoes. The pair that I did see were great, really high heels, no point, great style. But, no size 7. (whine)  The up side is that I bought some raisins. I always forget how much I really like this fruit. I still can't figure out why they are so caloric, they are just dried grapes.

I was searching for a book of a series I am reading. The library did not have it, so I had placed it in my Amazon basket. I just found a brand new copy in my book give-away pile. I can't even remember ordering it. This is the second or third time I have put new books in the GAP and forgotten them.

I have a meeting tonight and have already started wondering if I feel unwell. (cough, cough). Of course, I won't pretend that I am ill, too afraid the "sick fairies" will stop by my house. Still, I get so few really free whole days that I am tempted. I love what I am doing, but my days are often broken into pieces of an hour here, three hours there. Maybe I will play hooky and read my book.
