When I saw Prada, I was reminded of a boss who used to call me at home on my lunch hour (I lived close by) just about everyday to ask me to stop by a store and bring stuff to her , cookies, pantyhose, etc. I finally stopped answering my phone, I am sure that she knew I was home but what could she do I did not leave because of the annoying telephone "bring me things" calls--I finally left because she used to yell at her husband and it was very embarrasing.
There is an interesting article in AOL's movie news stating Prada movie spotlights nasty boss phenom. I have placed URL in my brand new blog. http://movieswithvannie.blogspot.com/ Be sure to participate in the 'mean boss' poll once you get there.
I do have to work on the links--thanks to a friend, I know what I need to do, but like Scarlett, I will think about it tomorrow.

Hi Vannie,
I had a boss that made the woman in the book seem like an angel! I can't wait to see the movie. While my devil boss could be so miserable and awful, she could at times be a really wonderful and generous person. It was like being in an abusive relationship - okay, I guess I was. :-( I did learn several things while working for her - one of which is: I never want to work for anyone else ever again. :-)
Regards,
